lynne maclean; somatic experiencing practitioner

For over 25 years I have been committed to personal healing and evolvement. From a young age, I have had the intuitive gift of knowing, called Claircognizance, which naturally encouraged me to explore the deeper meaning of life. I have studied with many well-known healing practitioners and human-potential teachers, helping to hone and integrate my gifts. This has greatly enhanced my work as a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner.

I spent the majority of my career as a successful actress, giving me a great understanding of the human condition. I was led to Somatic Experiencing  (SE™) by my husband, Arthur, after he suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury. After experiencing the benefits of the work for myself, I quickly realized this was the healing arts modality I’d been meant to practice.

I enrolled in the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute 3 year training program and received my credentials. In 2014 I left the entertainment industry and began my private practice. I am a member of the USABP and assist in SE trainings at all levels. I am also certified in Touch Skills for Trauma Professionals. I receive enormous joy from being of service and helping my clients transcend trauma, minimize stress and transform their lives. Today, I live in Oregon with Arthur and our beloved 4 dogs and 3 cats.

When you hold onto a script that doesn’t serve you, you leave no space to write a new one that does.

“I have worked with many different practitioners – from traditional therapy to acupuncture to all manner of energetic healing. Somatic Experiencing is one of the most powerful and integrated practices I have ever done and Lynne Maclean is one of the most intuitive healers with whom I have had the pleasure of working. I have been able to resolve old injuries, not just physically but emotionally and energetically. I have a stronger understanding of how my mind/body connection works and I have tools I can use to cope with whatever life throws at me. Lynne has an immense capacity for this work – if ever someone has found their calling, it is Lynne Maclean.
